What is Small and Home Office Association?

SAHOA is a tax-exempt association of small-office and home-office business owners in the Southeastern Connecticut area. It provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and concerns, and is dedicated to providing support to businesses as well as encouraging the continued growth of businesses in the area.

Who are the members of the SAHOA?

Writers, editors, computer consultants, carpenters, appraisers, designers, insurance professionals, Internet providers, bed & breakfast owners, travel agents, as well as many others. While SAHOA focuses on the needs of individuals currently running small offices, members also include those just starting out.

What are the benefits of membership?

Members receive the privilege of attending all monthly meetings and special events, and receive the association's monthly newsletter, SAHOA Voice. Aside from the practical benefits, members can be proud of belonging to a professional association representing the burgeoning Small and Home Office sector.

How much does membership cost?

Membership in SAHOA is only $45.00 (forty-five dollars) per year. Non-members are welcome to attend any meeting for a $5 fee, which can be applied to membership.
